It’s officially SPRING Mom Queens!
The grass is turning green, flowers and trees are blooming, and the Easter Bunny is headed this way shortly!
Being in Texas, where the allergy is season is CRAZY in Spring, I should make nasal spray and Claritin my monthly obsession! ;)-
To start April, I want to start how much quick progress my damaged lashes have been making since removing my extensions not even 2 weeks ago! I’m truly amazed! I’ll be back to better than I was before lashes I’m sure by May!
So my first beauty obsession for April is Lash Boost! I am totally understanding the hype about this product! I started using it 2 days after my lashes were removed. The inner and outer corners I basically had NOTHING left when removing them and the others were thinned and scarce. Its not even been a whole 2 weeks and I already see improvement! I’ve been using it every night before bed. Not going to lie, being in the height of allergy season I was hesitant on starting something like this because usually my eyes turn VERY sensitive but with Lash Boost it hasn’t been at ALL! Relief! I have used Latisse in the past but it irritated my eyes badly, so then I tried Revita Lash and I could use that, but the skin around my eyes were always pink. It didn’t bother me like Latisse but changed my skin color where I applied. It never hurt or itched it was just pink.
With Lash Boost It’s a thicker clear serum I haven’t had any issues, surprisingly! I’m seeing positive results and plan on keeping it up. Since I’ve started I’ve had numerous of girls reach out saying how much they love it. I’m joining their bandwagon! Exited to see my results in another 4 weeks! I will definitely share!
Like my new Smoothie Station? My second monthly obsession is Collagen Protein Powder! I found when I have things out and easy, like already cut up or prepared, I do more of it especially during the week when I am a running crazy woman. So I created this little smoothie stand off inspiration from my Mother-in-Laws coffee bar. But what’s in the container is what makes the difference! Things my body needs more of Organic honey (allergy season like I said and honey helps!), Fennel Seeds, Chia Seeds, Peanut Butter Powder (addicted) and COLLAGEN PROTEIN!
One of my first blogs was about Collagen Coffee Creamer and the many benefits of Collagen! Refer to my previous blog Collagen it does a body good for the many benefits. Sometimes I forget the creamer in the morning or I’m in a hurry, so I started swapping out my WHEY for Collagen Protein on those days. After a few weeks I’ve completely switched for the same amount of calories, the same mount of protein, but many more health and beauty benefits of Collagen, not to mention the taste!
I loved Girl Wash Your Face, I went to her documentary, and I am attending the Summer RISE conference of Rachel’s in Dallas, and I am super excited! I am a huge fan and I enjoy her books because they are a quick and easy read while motivating the heck out of you! It’s perfect to start Spring!
I am sure many of you Mom Queens already started this read the minute it came out, I picked it up on the way to Punta Cana. At the beach though I didn’t pick it up I was having to much fun with my family, I didn’t open any reading material besides my blogs. So I just started it this week and of course highly recommend to start your Spring with a motivation read for goals!
