Happy 2020 Queens!
It’s a new year, a new month, with new beginnings, and I have some new monthly obsessions to share with you!
My first monthly obsession for January is off course the monthly read that I’m keeping the same because it’s officially LAUNCH month! January 9th is my official book release, some websites and stores are already releasing but this is the month BASIC B!TCH hits your mailboxes for those that have been waiting!
I’ve been getting great feedback and have been so anxious for more! So if you have gotten your copy and have already started PLEASE share your reviews on Amazon, here on Mom Queen, on Barnes and Nobles, etc! I would love to hear what you think!
If you haven’t gotten a copy yet you can get it right here on my website or at ANY major book store!

January’s next product obsession is going to be about keeping yourself organized!
It’s the New Year, that means new goals, and most of us are motivated and anxious to make positive changes in our lives and I’m a firm believer that you can’t do that when you’re unorganized. Staying organized makes it so much easier to stay focused and utilize your time wisely. So my next two obsessions are easy tools that help me keep organized.
I swear there is never a time I’m not always trying to get ready in a hurry, ever. Keeping my makeup organized helps me get ready so much quicker! I’m not wasting time looking for things. I found these drawer organizers at Tuesday Morning here in Texas, and loved them so much I went back to get more but they were gone! I went online and BAM! At my door the next day! I keep my lipsticks together by color, my bronzers organized by my season skin tone shades, my liners together, my brushes together. Their great drawer height too!
My husband still makes fun of me for carrying around a physical planner. I know everything is on our phones these days, which I do put appointments on my phone, but writing things down helps me remember things! To me, I feel more organized when I can see my month laid out and my weeks notes all written out. It helps me stay on track and it actually helps me tremendously with my weekly and daily accomplishments. Every night before bed, or in the morning before I start my day, I quickly write down all the things I want to get done in the day, week ,etc. Having a checklist keeps me productive and finding a good organized planner that fits your needs keeps you on track and accountable. I’m loving this new Day Designer, the only thing I wish, is it came in pink! 😉
We just got back from our holiday vaca and while I was on my beach vacation I enjoyed using this hair mask! It made the world of difference for my beachy blonde hair that had too much fun in the sun!
I packed this hydrating mask because it was the closest I had to 3 oz or less for my luggage. I never used it prior to this past week, but since chopping my hair off and growing it back healthier, I have been doing hair treatments at least once or twice a month. I really feel that staying away from regular heat use on my hair like curlers, rods, and straighteners along with these regular treatments are what’s making the healthy difference for me!
Since this came in my Fab Fit Fun Winter box I thought I’d pack it in my carry on to Maui instead of a sample size since I couldn’t take my large Eufora Hydrating mask tube. I love it! You can feel the difference after and I love how it smells. After getting my hair wet, I would mask my hair with it and tie it up to leave it on all day while out in the sun. When getting in for the night off the beach I would wash it out. LOVE IT! I’ll continue using it and my other hair mask!
It’s officially Back to School and these babies are helping us get back on a regular sleep schedule. My kiddos even love them. It usually takes me awhile to fall asleep, but this little boost of melatonin helps rest my mind and eyes a lot quicker. They taste yummy too so it helps for my boys as well! We’ve had a lot of late nights that we will miss these months ahead but these little gummies are helping the whole family get back on a schedule.
There you have it, my January Obsessions!
I hope you find something useful in this list to help your January and New Year start off on the right track! I will leave these fun finds up all month in my side bar with quick link references.
Happy January and Happy New Year Queens!
